Description
On:song offer singing workshops, online choirs and programmes promoting wellbeing, mindfulness and unity at work. Focusing on four major issues facing contemporary workplaces:
Stress
Sleep
Connection
Energy
The sessions use proven breath, vocal and movement techniques to improve individual & team wellbeing and boost confidence. No experience is necessary, and there is no limit on numbers.
On:song's team of experienced and talented facilitators are adept at online facilitation and at creating a safe and accessible space for exploration, creativity and calm.
Sessions can be tailored to your team’s needs.
These fun, uplifting & accessible sessions are tailored to the clients' needs, however a typical workshop will include the following:
Introduction to the session leader, to the group & to the session theme
Quick orientation to the medium (Zoom) in a singing context
Stretching and physical warm-up
Vocal warmups and breathing exercises
Warm-up song - learnt through call & response
Main song - learning a piece of music in harmony, alongside prerecorded backing tracks, loops & layers for a truly immersive experience
Warm-down, humming & breathing exercises, often with additional instruments such as a singing bowl
Due to the latency on Zoom, it is not possible to sing altogether so participants are on mute when singing & therefore for the majority of the session - meaning you can belt-it out care free! However, participants are invited to unmute at various points in the session, should they wish to share/interact with the group. Use of the chat for interaction is also encouraged.
