Description
We hear this phrase a lot, ‘work-life balance’. Most of us aim to achieve it, but often feel like we fall short. And this has been a bigger issue than ever in recent years, trying to balance and juggle all the demands we’ve got. And when we aren’t able to achieve it, feelings of guilt, frustration and just not being ‘good enough’ creep in.
This session explores what ‘work-life balance’ actually is (is it what we assume?), some strategies for working towards a better balance and looking at being kinder to ourselves when we have a lot of roles to play.
• What it is: Myths, Perceptions and Reality
• Spinning the plates: As if there wasn’t enough to deal with….!
• Beating ourselves up: Guilt, expectations, own worst enemy
• Toolkit: What we can practically do
• What’s out there? Resources and support if you or someone you know needs help
