Description
A 30 minute routine to enliven and relax the body through a guided self massage focusing on: Feet or Face or Torso (and limbs) Feet massage is very energising and grounding at the same time.
Our feet are often neglected in exercise routines and daily life. By stimulating the feet in novel ways we bring a release of tension to the ‘whole body’. By working the extremities we can effectively counteract stress and anxiety.
Face massage is a wonderful tool to support deep relaxation as well as helping us improve the quality of our social interactions - as our facial muscles are ‘relational muscles’.
Torso and limbs routine is a great fun routine that brings aliveness and renewed energy flow to the body - especially when spending prolonged periods of time in stationary positions.
Each of these guided sequences can provide valuable intermissions from whole day events helping participants to recover a sense of their body / mind, improving their relational skills, supporting relaxation and better focus.
All of the guided sequences require little space, as we will seat (on a chair or on the floor) or stand and work on the spot. They can be experienced wearing comfortable everyday clothes as long as they allow for freedom of movement.
