Description
Mindfulness doesn’t have to be about stillness and relaxation! Sometimes the most effective way of understanding it is through linking it to an activity we already do, especially a physical one. This is why one of my first Mindfulness groups was for my running club. Having worked with elite athletes to people just starting out on a couch-to-5k, I use my own running experience (multiple marathons and ultra-marathons, albeit slowly!) and that of working with runners at different levels to link these topics in a way that can help both our running and our everyday lives. Suitable for people new to Mindfulness, this workshop shines a different light on learning how to bring Mindfulness into our lives.
This workshop can be tailored to suit your team. A typical agenda is: What is Mindfulness and what are the Benefits Why link Mindfulness and Running A Positive Spiral of Impact Overcoming Our Personal Challenges Practical Steps Q & A
