Acupuncture has been shown to raise the levels of specific hormones including endorphins, the body’s naturally produced ‘opiates’, the body’s own pain killers, and ‘feel good’ chemicals. Acupuncture is widely regarded as a safe and reliable therapeutic modality. The hair-fine needles are gas or gamma sterilised and are single use.
