Description
“I thought it was just me!”… a phrase I’ve heard from hundreds of people with a fear of being ‘found out’, a nagging feeling that people around them might suddenly discover that they don’t really know what they’re doing.Even when they’re experts in their field.
Commonly known as ‘imposter syndrome’ this anxiety has been a common thread in teams I’ve worked with over the years, from people new to their role, to those who are very experienced, established and successful!
It’s more common than many of us realise, can have a detrimental impact on our lives, and is definitely something we can work on. Let’s find out how.
This workshop is 30 minutes + 15 minutes Q & A
This workshop can be tailored to suit your team.
A typical agenda is:
Imposter syndrome: What is it and why does it happen?
The imposter impact: What are the issues with imposter syndrome at work?
Feeding the problem: Are our current strategies helping us… or maintaining the issue?
Tools & Techniques: How we can move beyond it and feel more secure and confident in what we do
Further resources: Signposting to additional support and information
