Description
This 3 part series will run by a Mental Health specialist to help employees prepare when returning to work and offer further support once they have returned.
Session 1 (Workshop): Introducing anxiety and situational anxiety vs anxiety disorder
Using the CBT model to explore situation, thoughts, emotions and behaviours
Employees will be helped to plan ahead to manage their uncertainty
Guidance on how to talk to their line manager and the practicalities of how the organisation will be supporting them
Mindfulness techniques to support with on the spot anxiety
Session 2 (Group Coaching): Employees will bring their triggers and will talk in groups on how to overcome them
Use CBT and coaching techniques to practice more objective thinking
Further mindfulness techniques to support managing anxious moments
After they’ve returned, employees will gather for the final session
Session 3 (Group Coaching): Employees can bring their own experiences of returning to work
Recommend ‘accountability’ partners, to keep the talking going and normalise their anxieties
Employees will be given homework tasks to help them prepare for the sessions, considering their triggers and the thoughts, emotions and behaviours that stem from it
