Description
What is the one thing you can do for your team that can have the biggest impact across areas ranging from productivity, engagement and mental health and wellbeing?
Teach people how to really listen. It’s the foundation of communication, and yet we spend the least amount of time learning how to do it properly.
As an experienced therapist, coach, mentor and teacher, ‘active listening’ is fundamental in my career, and to the success of the clients and teams I work with.
I’ve pulled the experience and research from those areas and combined it with additional expertise from counsellors and HR professionals, to create a session on this topic that can make a real impact in the workplace.
Agenda/ Outline:
This workshop can be tailored to suit your team.
A typical agenda is:
Surely we all know how to listen? Surprisingly not! Discover what we tend do instead.
Learn the fundamentals of active listening in an engaging and memorable way
Explore the barriers, habits and workplace factors that can disrupt active listening, and real-world solutions to these
Understand how you can make a positive impact in the workplace through simple, easy to apply techniques
