Description
Were you taught how to ‘listen’ at school? Most people have been taught how to ‘read’, ‘write’ and ‘speak’, but the most used mode of communication ‘listen’ only has under 6 months of learning.
According to C.H. Swanson, it is the most used mode of communication - 45% of time. Therefore, how can we be good listeners without the education and knowledge?
Active Listening is a method to improve the wellbeing of both the listener and speaker. There is more than ‘hearing’, it is includes non-verbal communication and skills. Patrick runs Active Listening workshops to teach delegates how to use listening skills to build stronger relationships and positive connections. This can be in scenarios when delegates want to help the wellbeing of others, understand how to self-care, and improve their work performance.
